We have arrived!!!

Well we are here! We left yesterday morning at 4am and got to our apartment here in Monterrey about 4:30. We were all very tired after such a long day. We didn't have any issues crossing the border or getting our visas so that was nice. It was very easy to get here actually. I had messed with the GPS and changed our destination so we got "lost" when we first got to Monterrey. Yeah that was fun! Luckily Eric realized what I had done and fixed the GPS and we found our apartment. It is quite nice- 2 bedroom, 2 bath and a kitchen. This picture is from the roof of the building. There is a nice sitting area up there, really cool actually. We went to the store and got some cleaning supplies and things that we needed to live here for a month. Eric went to Costco today and got some other things. Drew is sleeping in a twin bed for the first time and he did well. He doesn't really move when he sleeps so we didn't worry too much about it.
I didn't sleep well last night and so was quite tired today. The girls came in this morning around 10 and we have them all settled in their rooms. They are all staying with roommates that are college-age and that is a little different for sure. David is our only boy and he arrived this afternoon. He is from Monterrey and was staying with family. He will be staying here with us during the week.
Tomorrow morning I will go to the orientation at school with my students. Eric will check out a daycare that is about a block away from the apartments. That would be great if we could get the boys there tomorrow and then we would all be able to go to school Tuesday.
The weather is nice today. It's only about 88. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid-nineties and then it will warm up again. :)
